Imagine being 3 years old and feeling a real tickle in your tummy as you whizz over small bumps on a bike. In Trysil there are adapted bike paths for everyone - even the very youngest children. Nature is an ingenious playground with its fresh air and forest areas filled with challenges. Here the whole family can have fun on two or more wheels!

The whole family can travel and have something to do here, where the children play at their own level, while the adults can seek excitement on more challenging bike paths.
Many choices
If the children use a balance bike, stabilizers or are they finally able to ride a two-wheeled bike themselves? Regardless of level, there is something to challenge in Trysil. For the youngest children, it may be a good idea to choose adapted paths where they can experience a sense of mastery within a safe framework.
Here are the cycling areas recommended for children between 3 and 6 years old (all trails are graded green):
Sneaky Snake: A short trail (120 meters) containing a few bumps, a seesaw, two beautiful bridges and a tower that you cycle through. A perfect ride for balance bikes and for those who are just learning to ride a bike. You'll find it right next to the pump track in GT Bike Park.
Lucky Ducky: A 620 meter long easy and nice trail for beginners of all ages. The entrance to the trail can be found right next to the jump lines in the GT Bike Park. The trail has a small incline at the start, and then it goes downhill in nice turns. The trail ends close to a small pond, and if you are lucky, you can meet a real duck on your journey.
Green Fox: Is perfect for beginners and as a warm-up for further cycling in Gullia. The track is 1.3 kilometers, and the start is right at the pump track in GT Bike Park. Here the children can look for green foxtails!
The trail is fun for both young and old, and is a great place to practice your technique before the children try out the blue trails. The rainbow bridge makes the trail even more exciting.
If the children are safe on this trail, the next step can be Happy Rabbit, which is also graded green. Happy Rabbit is 1.8 kilometers long and starts with 49 super fun bumps that you cycle over.
Other bike areas kids will love
GT Bike Park: Here you will find a paved pump track and four different jump lines (green, blue, red and black). The bike park also has several barbeques to use, benches, water and information stations. Close to the park there is a small kiosk where you can buy drinks, some food and ice creams. The small pond in the middle of the park is a draw for the youngest children, and the older ones can cycle over the thin bridge that has been built over the pond. Be prepared for a wet experience!
The Adventure Park: In the summer of 2023, an Adventure Park opened close to the Radisson Blu Resort Trysil. The park has Mountain Coaster, tubing, electric go-kart cars, bouncy castle and of course tracks for mountain biking. A nearby cafe offers light refreshments, slush and ice cream.
For the very youngest, there are tiny bike lanes where children can take the bike up on a conveyor belt.
Two green, lift-based cycle paths have also been built in Valleskogen, where you cycle over wooden bridges and into nice and appropriate bends. The children are pulled up by a tow lift to the top.
Radisson Blu Bike Park: Here you'll find balance elements, small jumps, turns in a natural environment of rocks and roots. Everything is within the circular trail adjacent to the trails in Eventyr. Take a break at the café Mt. Mocca and Wågna, where you can buy delicious coffee, pastries and delicious hamburgers. A few steps away are Peppes and La Pasteria, as we know pizza and pasta are always great success with children.

Gullia: Gullia has trails for different levels. The oldest toddlers can thrive on the green slopes. In total, Gullia offers 30 kilometers of adapted trail cycling, GT Bike Park with pump track and jump lines, accessible barbecue areas and a kiosk. Here you will also find Høyt & Lavt Climbing Park, where the climbing trails hang just above the bike paths. The area is easily accessible at Trysil Tourist Center. You can have lunch at Bistro 19, which is located by the golf course, and close to Gullia.
