Mountain biking in Trysil is suitable for everyone

Our trails are not just for the super pros! We have trails to suit everyone, whether you're on two wheels for the first time or you've been riding since the nappy stage. Let us take you on a playful journey through our bike paths, tailored especially for families with children!

Cycling fun for the whole family

At Trysil, we know that happy children mean happy parents. That's why we've invested both love and money in creating a summer experience that nowhere else in Scandinavia can boast. The cycling season kicks off in mid-May, and lift-based bike paths are usually ready in mid-June.

Bike parks for an easy or just fun start

If you're feeling a little unsure,  our bike parks are the perfect place to start. Check out the GT Bike Park, where you'll find everything from paved pump tracks to green and easy bike paths for the little ones. And if you don't have your own bike, don't worry - we have bike rentals to suit all needs!

Gullia - Cycling fun for everyone

Gullia is a magical place for those with a bike - of all ages. With over 30 kilometres of cycle paths graded from green (this is what you can do) to double black (think twice), this woodland is both a playground and a challenge at the same time. And yes, we mean double black – we're not kidding when it comes to fun!

Lift-based cycling for the adrenaline rush

At the top of the Fjellekspressen lift, a cycling experience awaits that you won't forget. Over 16 kilometers of bike paths, graded from blue to black, give you a real dose of adrenaline. Magic Moose, Flow Star, and Twister aren't just cool names, they're also a taste of trails you don't want to miss. Just keep in mind that these are not trails that are suitable for absolutely everyone. A good test is to ride Sweet Dreams in Gullia first. If you love it, lift-based cycling might be your next step.

If you bring smaller children to Trysil, you will of course find lift-based cycling for them as well. In the Adventure Park, the youngest children are pulled up the hill on their bikes and can whizz down on kind, fun bike paths. There you will also find many other exciting activities, but that is a completely different adventure.

Mountain biking at its best

Take your cycling experience to new heights at Fjellrunden, a 13-kilometre-long gravel cycling and hiking trail around Trysilfjellet. And for those who love a little challenge, Fjellflyten down to Trysil Høyfjellssenteret is a little treat of a bike path. At the Høyfjellssenter you will find several options for lunch and also a separate bike park with jumps and drops. For a different experience, we can recommend renting an electric bike on the trip around the mountain.
