Autumn is made for outdoor time, because now it's absolutely fantastic on top of the mountains! Bright colors and great autumn sun give autumn in the mountains that little extra. Check out these good reasons why you should take a trip to Trysil this autumn!

Cycling in autumn landscapes
Trail biking is something we recommend everyone who visits us this fall to do! In Gullia you will find bike paths that suit everything from beginners to experienced trail cyclists, graded from green to black. If you don't want to bring your own bikes, you can easily rent bikes in Trysil.
In addition to laps in Gullia , you can take the lift up and access a number of lift-based bike paths. Magic Moose is a 7 kilometer long flow trail that is graded blue - one of Northern Europe's longest!

In the high mountains, you should also try out the fantastic flow trail, Fjellflyten, the skill trails in Fageråsen Bike Park and the new Fjellroastien.

Access the lift and activities in Adventure
In Trysil you will find as many as four bike parks. Norway's largest and coolest pump track is located in GT Pro Park, and this is really worth visiting!
Things to Do in Adventure

The Adventure children's area, located just below Radisson Blu Resort Trysil, offers a fun and varied activity area for the whole family. Here you will find a mountain coaster, mountain tube, electric mini-go-carts and fun bike paths for the little ones!

Autumn is perfect for ski touring
We have gathered a total of 14 nice summit hikes in Trysil into a summit tour program.
Our recommended summit tours are child-friendly and graded blue. The trips are registered digitally via the UT app. UT.no One of Trysil's most popular summit hikes is Skagsvola, which boasts a fantastic view at the top. Another tip is to take the trip up to Bittermarka, about 40 minutes from the center of Trysil, and walk the child-friendly and nice hike Støta. This is a highly recommended trip where you will really get to experience autumn's beautiful color palettes!

Autumn trip on horseback

Have you ever dreamed of experiencing the beautiful autumn colours from horseback? Make dreams come true with the steady gang at Trysil Horse Center! Here you will be taken on great walks in the forest, and offer everything from rental trips on the track to two-hour trips. More info about the tour offer here.
High & Low Trysil
The popular climbing park Høyt & Lavt Trysil is definitely worth a visit this autumn.
All climbing, except for the courses for the very youngest, starts from a 12-metre-high tower. Great fun! In the climbing park there are 9 different courses of varying difficulty, so there are opportunities for everyone to experience a little climbing joy. Orange is the easiest lane, followed by green, blue, and red. There are a total of 96 obstacles in the courses, which are placed both in the treetops and on the ground. A session in the climbing park lasts about 2.5 hours.

Experience more with Stolpejakten
In Trysil, there are as many as seven different maps in the Pole Hunt. This activity is a great way to get to know Trysil better - because here the nature experiences are lined up!
Frisbee golf – a sport for everyone
Frisbee golf, also called disc golf, is really in the wind. Trysil is no exception, because there are several courses to choose from! Fageråsen Frisbee golf course has 18 holes and is completely free to play if you bring your own counters. You can also rent the necessary equipment at Fageråsen Handel.

Also in Fulufjellet you can play frisbee golf. The course has nine holes, and starts right outside Løa in the alpine center. Read more about Fulufjellet Disc Golf Park here.
This summer, a brand new frisbee golf course opened in Jordet. The course has 9 holes, and is located at Jordet ski stadium. Here you will find a box with loan counters, and alternatively you can stop by Joker Jordet and buy some very own spoon trays. Follow nordamors.diskgolf on Instagram for more info.
Eating out?
If you want to go out and eat during the autumn holidays, the restaurants in Trysil are full of tempting dishes for all tastes. On the menus you will find everything from local specialties such as transported eel at Løkja, to TASTE Trysil's fantastic shellfish plateau.

Canoe trip on the Trysilelva river
A canoe trip on the Trysil river can safely be recommended. Canoes can be rented at Trysil Hyttegrend or in Ljørdalen. At Trysil Hyttegrend you get maps and good tips for nice places to go ashore. The canoe trip down to Tjønna takes about an hour and is suitable for both families with children and groups of friends.
Go for a walk with a goat and llama
In Trysil you can go on a walk with both festive goats and llamas! Both Kilde Gård and Fjell-Huskies offer tours. This is an exciting experience for young and old. The tours vary in length. If you want a quieter time, we can recommend a kennel visit to Mountain King Sled Dog Kennel - here there is guaranteed to be a high cuddle factor!

Fun for everyone on the golf course
Trysilfjellet golf course is an arena for the whole family. This great forest course garners many praises for its great greens. Here you can also challenge the family on the popular and adventurous mini golf course. You can enjoy lunch at the restaurant Bistro 19.
