Full speed ahead on a dog sled trip

For a more fast-paced winter experience, you should try dog sledding. It's a wonderful feeling to stand on the back of the sled while the dogs do what they love. You can choose between short or long rides and this is a perfect activity for the whole family.

Snowshoeing, Northern Lights and Christmas Tree Walk

You may have noticed that snowshoeing has become popular recently. At Wolverine Adventures, you can borrow snowshoes and join a guided tour out into the winter mountains. You may also be able to join in the hunt for the Northern Lights dancing across the winter sky. Or maybe a Christmas trip, where you get your own Christmas tree cut down, can create magical Christmas memories for the family?

Christmas and New Year in Fulufjellet 

In Fulufjellet, only a 40-minute drive from Trysil, you are invited to join in on Christmas and New Year's celebrations. On Christmas Eve, Santa will come to visit, and there will be free horse sledding. On New Year's Eve, the year ends with fireworks and torch driving.

The ski resort offers nice ski slopes and one of Norway's longest toboggan runs. Take the lift up and whizz down the mountain on a toboggan, and  they also have their own toboggan run with a lift for children under 10 years old.

Winter experiences with skis on your feet

Skiing experiences are important to many people when they visit Trysil. In Norway's largest ski resort, everyone will find trails that suit them. And maybe the Christmas and New Year celebrations can be started by honing your skiing technique with a ski instructor?

 This is also a perfect way for children to get started with this year's ski season, so they get off to a safe start. The Christmas program in the mountains is, as usual, packed with Valle activities, torchlight driving and fireworks.
