In Trysil, we embrace the joy of playing – and children believe grown-ups should take a more active role. Therefore they have made a set of playful life rules for grown-ups.

It's not just about joining in on the game. It's about public health. In Trysil, we focus on better health by being more active.
- A great way to improve public health is by listening to the children and following their advice. Maybe you'll discover that you're even having fun," says Ida dyreng, tourism manager in Trysil.
Playful life rules for grown-ups – made by children
Play with the children
If you're a mom or dad, you need to do something fun with your kids at least twice a day.
Try something new
Maybe you haven't tried your new hobby yet!
Think yes before you think no
Fun and good things happen if you say yes more often.
Be outside with your family
Preferably in nature, but it can also be in your local area.
Fooling around with strangers
You should tell a joke to someone you meet in the store once a week. At least say hello!
Talk to your best friend every week
You're never too old to have friends, and best friends last a lifetime. Play with them as often as you can.
Use nature as a playground
Here you can climb, paddle, swim, cycle, or sled and build a snowman in the winter time.
Dance, sing and laugh out loud
Because that's when you end up laughing even more! And you should dance, sing and play some good music every day.
Use your imagination
Things that are ordinary and boring can become fun and exciting if you use imagination. And if something is difficult, then maybe the children can help with their imagination?
