New EU rules and Trysil's sustainability goals mean that we must reduce waste and increase recycling. In collaboration with our waste management company SEIR, we introduced waste sorting in holiday homes in Trysilfjellet in 2022. In the long term, there will be waste sorting for all holiday homes throughout Trysil municipality.

The map "Recycling in Trysilfjellet" shows all facilitated recycling spots for recycling your waste. You can get directions via Google Maps by clicking on the recycling spot closest to your cabin (see map at bottom of this article).

In Trysilfjellet, the recycling will be based on the same waste types that are currently collected from homeowners in our region. These are recycling "wells" where the recycling is stored partially underground. This makes it easy to sort, and the goal is to increase recycling and reduce waste in nature.
