  • Recommended trips suitable for wheelchairs and strollers

    Trysil offers hiking opportunities for everyone, including those with reduced disabilities. You can find several short, easily accessible trips that are just as suitable with a pram as a wheelchair. Higher up in the mountains you will find Fjellrunden, an adapted gem that goes around the entire mountain. If you're looking for more action on wheels, Gullia is worth checking out!

    Fjellrunden - a 13km cycling and hiking trail in Trysil

    Fjellrunden is a facilitated gem in Trysil! Here you really get the mountain feeling, and this experience can be shared with both family and friends. Fjellrunden is a cycling and hiking trail that goes around the entire Trysilfjellet. The round is 13 kilometers, and has two good starting points: Skihytta and Trysil Høyfjellssenter. And did you know that the section between Fageråsen–Grønskaret is also suited for disabled access?

Environmentally conscious Restauranthuset Fageråsen

Helen and Martin Sturmhoefel run Restauranthuset Fageråsen together with Adam Berglund. The restaurants consist of Fjellroa, Kafé Kasserolle, Restaurant Pilegrimen and Spiseriet. The couple ended up in Trysil five years ago, and are enjoying themselves. Together with their daughters, they work for a greener operation of their eateries in Fageråsen.
