Floodlit tracks in Jordet
In Jordet in Nordre Trysil, the tracks are floodlight from 17:00–22:00 every day throughout the winter (16:00–22:00 in January). The entire round is about 2.5 kilometers, but it is quite possible to do shorter loops. From the parking lot at the stadium, it is excellent to ski in the southern direction with the very youngest.
If you do the whole round, you get to challenge yourself both uphill and downhill. The floodlit trail is also a good starting point if you want to go for longer walks in Nordre Trysil's trail network, for example to the local hiking favorites Omformen and Storkjølen. The latter is a perfect hiking destination for families with children, a few pole strokes from the parking lot in Eltdalsvegen.
