Local quality cheese produced in Flendalen, Trysil, since 2003. Farm dairy with a small self-service shop offering cheese and goat meet from the farm, as well as some other products.
The farm Bryn is originally a burering farm from 1935, and there have always been goats on the farm. The farm has summer farms at Rømonysetra in Bittermarka, and the mountain farm hamlet is over 200 years old.
The farm is located in the northern part of Trysil, at the foot of Skardfjellet. Our 90 dairy goats gives us the finest produce, which we process into many different types of cheeses in our own farm dairy. We also offer goat meat of the highest quality. The goat kids graze outdoors all summer, eating herbs, juniper, grass and mountain flowers that the mountains and forests have to offer. This creates wonderful flavors.
The production in the dairy is versatile and artisanal. The inspiration comes from local culture and tradition, with a touch of Greek, French and Cypriot cheese traditions.
We have won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Norwegian Championship in farm cheese.
There is a small farm shop connected to the dairy. Cheese from Bryn can also be bought at Coop Mega, Kiwi Sørhusjordet, Kiwi Trysilfjellet and Joker Jordet, among others.
