Family rafting - a favorite on the Trysil River

Family rafting is arranged in the south of the Trysil river, in a part of the river that is calmer than where the other river activities take place, with grades 1-2. Here, the river alternates between safe, slow-flowing sections, where we can swim if we wish, and rapids that make our stomachs tickle. The tour ends at Elgfossen. Here the waves are highest and we can try wave surfing. Children as young as 6 years old accompanied by their parents will have a great time on family rafting in Trysil.

Rafting - Challenging, exciting and beautiful

Join us and experience the roughest and best rapids in the Trysil River! At the starting point at Sølenstua, we at SkiStar Guides take you on a review of equipment and safety routines, and tell you about commands and paddling technique. You will get to know the boat before we set out on a 2 hour trip, with increasingly challenging rapids. 

Ducky - a fun water activity in the Trysil river

Haven't you tried ducky, you say? Then you've missed out on something fun! Ducky, or two-man raft, goes in various rapids, from completely calm to rapids where you can try your hand at wave surfing. The trip is well suited for those who have tried rafting before, and it is a great advantage to be fond of water!

Ducky runs parallel to family rafting, so here it is possible to divide the travel group so that everyone can test their limits.
