Trysilfjellet Arena
With a roller ski route, snow storage and snow production, Trysilfjellet Arena offers very good training conditions for cross-country skiing and biathlon all year round. The facility also has changing rooms and toilets.
The route is 2.7 kilometres long and floodlit from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. It is six meters wide, of which three meters have asphalt. There is also asphalt laid out towards the main road, and this provides excellent opportunities for uphill sessions in connection with the roller ski track. For biathlon, two penalty rounds have been added, one of 75 meters and one of 150 meters. The arena will be prioritized when snow production starts, and the arena will open as early as November 1 with snow from last year. Click here to read more about training at Early Snow in Trysil.
Large trail network
The arena is connected to the rest of the cross-country skiing network on and around Trysilfjellet - a total of 100 kilometres. The trail network is of very high quality, and is adapted for both classic and skating. The trails run in beautiful forest and mountain terrain, and are groomed almost daily during the season.
In the pre-season, Trysilfjellet Arena is prioritized for clubs, national teams and active runners.
