The Day Trip Cabin

The day trip cabin is located in Grimsåsen, is open all the time and can be used by everyone. There is a large trail network in the area, and the cabin is strategically located as a starting point for several trail trips in slightly steeper terrain for those who wish. Nearby there is also a shelter that can be used as a picnic area and barbecue area. An outdoor toilet is set up available to everyone.

The Mountain Round

Fjellrunden is a 13 km long trail that takes you all the way around Trysilfjellet. Two good starting points are Skihytta and Trysil Høyfjellssenter. The surface varies from a good gravel road to an easy gravel road and wooden blocks on shorter sections. From Trysil Høyfjellssenter via Grønskaret to Skihytta, the round goes on a gravel road with a wide wooden clap over the marshes. Parts of this trail are adapted for wheelchairs with HC parking from the cabin area in Fageråsen (Lågfjellet). The tree lobes in this area are about 110 cm wide.
