Imagine how much you have to talk about afterwards! Trysil has many good family-friendly options. Some eateries may be more suitable for you and your family. Here are some highlights that we hope will hit both small and large food lovers.
La Pasteria – for pasta lovers of all ages
Pasta is a sure winner, and La Pasteria at the Tourist Center has delicious dishes with fresh pasta. The children's menu consists of pasta bolognese and pasta with snow and tomato sauce, but the children can also eat from the regular menu. Half a portion from the pasta menu costs half the price. The location is in the middle of the Tourist Center with a lot of atmosphere and atmosphere.
Peppes Pizza – a sure winner
When the choice falls on pizza, Peppes is a good alternative. Children up to and including 12 years old can choose from their own menu consisting of mini pizza, lasagna, hamburger or oven-baked pieces of chicken fillet. The classic menu is large and rich. Maybe the little ones want to taste mom and dad's pizza? At Peppes at the Tourist Center, there is a playroom. It never fails!
Bowling and burger buffet
The combination of activity and dinner is a winner for active families. At Chill Bowl & Dine at Radisson Blu Trysil, the activity is bowling and dinner burgers. When the ski day is over and the evening is to be filled with something new and exciting, this combination is a good tip. After a few laps on the bowling alley, everyone can enjoy a delicious burger meal.
Burger, bowl and sushi
The name contributes to a good atmosphere, and at Happy Faces at the Tourist Center, the atmosphere is good and the food accurate. Good burgers with nice side dishes, sushi and bowls. Eat on site or take home or to the cabin.
The irresistible hot chocolate
Nothing beats a cup of hot chocolate. All cafés and eateries have the classic hot drink, with or without cream. But several places take the hot chocolate to a different! Irresistible varieties with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate sauce and lots of other sweet stuff is on offer. Head to Café Kasserolle at Høyfjellssenteret and Barbacoa at Turistsenteret and order an exciting version.
Plenty of pancakes!
You could say that everyone likes pancakes. And a pancake meal can quickly become the highlight of the day. Especially if the topping is marshmallows, cream, M&Ms, and chocolate sauce. Or cream, Nutella, banana and toasted hazelnuts. If you take a break at Kafé Kasserull, they have a pancake menu that is hard to resist! Pancakes can also be ordered at many other restaurants in Trysil.
South America and Mexico hand in hand
Barbacoa, right next to the Mountain Express at the Tourist Center, has flavors that please many. They serve tender, tasty and juicy meat, interesting side dishes, different kinds of tacos, nachos and other flavors from Mexican and American Southern cuisine. The children have their own menu. And if you think that winter sports and English football are some of the best there is, then this is often shown at Barbacoa. Good atmosphere!
Lasagna Thursday!
Lasagna is good, doesn't almost everyone think so? Every Thursday, Spiseriet Trysil at Høyfjellssenteret serves homemade lasagna at a family-friendly price. There is also an Italian theme on the menu, and if it is more tempting with Neapolitan pizza, pasta or antipasti delicacies, then the choice is yours.
Children's menu and children's price
A family resort like Trysil also has family-friendly menus, and some restaurants use half portion at half price. If in doubt, just ask.
