Hiking trail 50 - Lundkvassberget
At the top of Lundkvassberget lies a large rock which is thought to have been deposited here during the Ice Age. Next to the rock is a stone circle. There are many theories behind what this circle used to be, including that it was once a place of sacrifice or a burial ground.
There is an excellent view of Trysilfjellet Mountain and the surrounding woods from Lundkvassberget. The hike can also be combined with a dip in Gjetsjøen Lake.
Drive south towards Nybergsund, turn left in the roundabout. Follow rv 25 towards Østby approximately 15 km. Take left, follow gravel road about 2 km. 20 min drive from Trysil Tourist Information.
