Trysil Library
Trysil has spawned many great authors: Sven Moren, Halvor Floden, Halldis Moren Vesaas, Einar Skjæraasen, Tormod Haugen, Dagfinn Grønoset and many more. The newest star is Sigmund Løvåsen (b. 1977). Trysil has a poet sitting under every tree – almost!
The shelves of Trysil’s public library hold the works of these local writers and much more: in all, we have over 40,000 titles to lend out: books, videos, audio books, music, language courses, newspapers and magazines. Borrow them while on holiday here, if it’s pouring rain or the thermometer approaches -40°C, or anytime!
Books are due back in four weeks, videos in one week.
We have a large section for children, local image archive, reading room, newspaper alcove, local history collection, and 3 Internet PCs as well as wireless Internet connection. The Internet, like everything else we have, is FREE!
So feel free to stop in!
