5. Limitation of communication

You can opt out of receiving advertising or marketing communications from us. If you choose to take advantage of this opportunity, your ability to stay up to date on our Services and Goods will be limited.

6. What technical solutions do we use in our interaction with you as a user?

A digital platform such as a service can be compared to a virtual square where everyone who is a player participates, is seen, can sell, buy and experience. In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that our services are based on various technologies in order for them to be perceived as relevant to you as a user, and here we would particularly like to highlight the following basic technological mechanisms:

• My Location The App creates an ID for each user who downloads the App.

• The device: Your digital device contains unique information that can be read by actors who will interact with this device in one way or another. You can limit the sharing of some of the information yourself by actively turning off the functions, but you are then at risk that services you want do not work/are limited.

As long as a digital device is turned on, it has a unique ID that will be detectable, and if the device has a SIM card, it will also be able to be tracked. SIM actually means: Subscriber Identity Module = Subscriber Identity Module. This means that your digital device can always be "seen" and tracked as a transmitter/receiver of radio signals. The systems in our arenas will also be able to track your device without you doing anything active.

• Your identity: When you register as a user with us, we will have the opportunity to customize your interaction with you. It is only when you have registered with an active consent that you will be a stakeholder/user we can communicate with.

• Time: We assume that the interaction with you as a stakeholder will vary based on the time of year, day, time of week, etc.

• Your location: Your digital device contains several technological solutions to be able to communicate to you and to your surroundings where you are and where you are in relation to something else. These are technologies such as GPS (Global Positioning System), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and digital beacon bearing. These technologies are leveraged to interact with the device in various ways. This can be used for guiding, access control, map services, security communication, location-controlled services and products, etc.

• Your online activity is automated/simplified with the help of, among other things, cookies. Destination Trysil may collect information about your computer, including any available IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration as part of the audit process. In addition, we collect information about your general internet usage through the use of cookies. You can disable the use of cookies. However, you may not be able to take full advantage of the Services if you do so.

It is important that you as a user/stakeholder on our service are aware that the technologies mentioned above are used. They lay the foundation for us to be able to build and develop services that you and other players on our digital marketplace want.

It is an essential characteristic of any device connected to a digital network that you should pay particular attention to; Unlike a radio set or traditional TV set, all communication is two-way. This means that in all types of use of the device, you respond to inquiries and send out signals about yourself and your behavior, location, etc.

It is important that you also understand that in order to be able to offer you relevant digital services, we will also need to retrieve the information described above. As a user, you should be particularly aware that the combination of data data together provides even more detailed information about you and your behaviour. And it places greater demands on our awareness of the use of the data.

As a user/stakeholder on our service, you accept that we have the opportunity to interact with you. The interaction/communication will be done with the most suitable technology/method at any given time. Please note that all digital communications collect and track information about you and your behavior.

Our Service also collects certain information automatically in order to store it in log files. This information includes, for example, IP addresses, browsers and languages, internet service provider, pages referenced or referenced, and applications, operating system, date or time and click flow.

We use the information for the purposes of understanding and analyzing trends and user behavior, administering the website, improving our service and Goods and Services and content, and to collect information about our users on an overall and aggregate level. Destination Trysil may use the information in marketing and advertising services.

Pixel tags will tell us whether or not a message to you has been opened. We may use the information to reduce the number of messages sent to customers or to stop sending messages. More information about cookies and other such technologies can be found in your browser.

7. Security

We take the security of your personal data very seriously. Your personal data is password protected and personal information you provide to us is protected from unauthorised access.

As a reminder, when you use certain Services or upload or share content, your personal data and the content that you upload or share may become visible to others and may be read and used by others. You are responsible for the information you choose to share or post in such cases. For example, if you put your name and email address in a forum post, that information will be public.

8. Storage of personal data

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or applicable law. In particular, we would like to inform you that many of the technical solutions we use to communicate with you, and which you expect to work, require us to store data in accordance with section 6 above.

9. Information about your rights, updates, correction and deletion of personal data

You have certain rights in your relationship with Destination Trysil, which is the data controller for the processing of your personal data in connection with our service.

Your personal data is always treated confidentially and is protected with appropriate security measures. When we engage suppliers of IT services located outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that your personal data is adequately protected, such as by entering into a data transfer agreement with the provider outside the EU/EEA that has access to our IT systems. Such processing shall take place in accordance with EU law for transfer to a third country or other accepted and specifically specified basis for transfer to a third country.
