Employees at Destination Trysil

Ida Dyreng, CEO

My first memory from Trysil is as a little girl in the ski rental with expectations, excitement and the feeling of pure child happiness for a family day skiing. The joy of creating good experiences together with those closest to me has always been important to me, and Trysil has been my skiing paradise since childhood.

I grew up in Elverum, where I live with my family. We have an apartment in Trysilfjellet where the family gathers both summer and winter. My grandfather was from Tenåsen in Trysil, so I'm a proud owner of the national costume of Trysil , "Trysilbunaden". After studying in London and Oslo with a focus on management and a master's degree in international marketing, I worked for a year at the entrepreneurial company Sweet Protection in Trysil before spending over 15 years in Svalbard, focusing on international marketing, product- and destination development.

My heart beats for the service and tourism industry, where I have spent my entire working life, and I have an unwavering belief in the power of collaboration to create increased value at all levels.

Together, we will create unforgettable memories that our guests longs to return to.

Elisabet Søgaard, Finance and Administration Manager

I grew up in Søre Osen, a village in Vestre Trysil. After an au pair stay in the USA, studying informatics in Hønefoss, and 13 years in Oslo working and studying economics, I moved back home with my husband and children in 2016.  We really enjoy living in Trysil!

The excitement is through the roof when the first snow falls and we can bring out our skis and snowboards. But the excitement is also high when we can get our bikes out and take our first rides in Gullia, in the mountains, and in the woods.

Working to get more people to experience the most wonderful thing I know - that is a dream job!

Bente Nysæter, Communications Manager

I grew up in a small village with a strong sense of community – we are, of course, talking about Jordet in Nordre Trysil. After completing my bachelor's degree in tourism at HiL in 2003, I have spent over 20 years in the tourism industry in Trysil. And what a journey it has been!

I have gained extensive experience in digital marketing, with the management and development of trysil.com and CRM as my main areas of focus. I have a deep desire for as many people as possible to experience the good life in Trysil. Spreading the playful Trysil message brings me joy!

In my free time, my Trysil heart especially beats for walks on beautiful softwood trails, in lovely cross-country skiing tracks, or as a cheer squad on the football field. Go Nordre!

Jonas Sjögren, Content Manager

I came to Trysil in December 2008 to work at the Radisson Blu Resort Trysil, which opened on December 15th. It was my first time visiting Trysil, but I grew up in Hagfors, Värmland, which is only 200 kilometres away. I was drawn to Trysil because a bowling alley was set to open at the hotel, and at that time, I was a professional bowler and had travelled around Europe. When I got the opportunity to work in this area, the choice was easy. I started, like many others, as a seasonal worker, but in 2015, I was offered a year-round position as the manager of bowling and the pool. At the same time, my interest in photography and film awakened. I started freelancing as a side project, which significantly boosted my interest in content production for social media.

In 2020, I received an offer to work full-time at Destinasjon Trysil creating content for all digital channels. It was and still is truly a dream job. Just think of being able to work with what I love. It has been an incredibly exciting and educational journey to where we are today.

In my spare time, I spend most of my time on one of the activities offered in Trysil, often found cycling, on the golf course, or on a mountain hike, usually with my camera ready. I am passionate about conveying the great stories of Trysil through photography and film. Being able to work in my hobby is simply a dream job
